Experience Wines of the French regions
Your wine experience will no doubt be one of the highlights of your cruise. Our barge cruises take you through some of the finest wine-growing regions of France, and there’s sure to be something for every palate. You’ll tour several local vineyards and wineries and have the opportunity to see how modern technology pairs with traditional wine-making methods to produce exquisite wines.
We have our own wine cellars onboard Le Papillon and Nymphea with 200-300 bottles of wine available at any given time, so you’ll be served a wide variety of regional wines that will beautifully complement your experience. We’ve nurtured strong relationships with many French vineyards, and we’re always finding new winemakers and wines to add to our inventory.
We’re proud of the wines we serve, so you can be sure we take great care in selecting the wines we carry onboard. You’ll taste wines from some of the most famous labels to the small, local producers. You’ll enjoy at least 2-3 different wines, thoughtfully paired with each meal, and you’ll never be served the same wine twice. We’ll also offer you great wines from Northern Burgundy, the Côtes du Rhône, Provence and elsewhere, making a week on board a veritable masterclass in great French wines.
